Why Your Attempts at Fat Loss Always Fail and How to Fix It
Obesity is becoming a bigger and bigger problem in America, but whether you live here or anywhere else, whether you’re obese or just have a little bit of extra fat, weight loss seems to be on the mind of almost everyone at one point or another.
Some are young, some are blessed with a fast metabolism, and some are so active that they never seem to put on extra weight. However, as we age, or as our lifestyles change or catch up to us, we sometimes find ourselves getting out of shape, and our new normal becomes a little heavier than we would like.
Many of us may have found ourselves in decent shape in the past, but over the course of quarantine our activity declined, gyms closed, and we developed a very close relationship with the fridge.
I was always one of those people who had a “fast metabolism” and therefore never needed to watch my diet. Looking back, I think it was just the fact that I was so physically active, playing multiple sports and walking everywhere, and I developed some terrible eating habits along the way. Even after the world of sports, my job was so physically demanding, and I would go so long without eating, that it was almost impossible to gain weight.
